Students Learn the Art of Cooking

Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School students enrolled in the Food Nutrition & Wellness/Gourmet Food course recently learned about advanced cooking skills from a culinary expert. Chef Tyler Reinhart, from Johnson and Wales University, shared his knowledge and advice to the students in Mrs. Jahn’s class. Chef Reinhart taught an interactive lesson to students by demonstrating chopping and dicing techniques, along with sautéing lessons.
