“Get ready to Rock n Roll and stroll up Main Street in your Halloween costumes,” says business owner Nancy Sinoway of 334 Main Street. Port businesses will host “Halloween on Main” for a second straight year, with trick or treaters walking from the bay to the boulevard on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Dozens of businesses will be displaying in their windows the “Halloween on Main” poster to show that they are participating.
There will be live music, from Bach to Rock, until 1:30 p.m., and free parking at the town dock.
Halloween bags will be given out to the first 300 kids who show up in costumes at Sunset Park to listen to the music. “We understand that a very well known Super Hero will be appearing at that time and location also,” Sinoway said.
In addition to support from participating Main Street businesses, Nancy Sinoway has partnered with The Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District (THE BID), Minute Man Press and Bach to Rock to help make “Halloween on Main 2013” a most memorable event.
