Basketball Clinic
Bounce down to the Mid Island Y JCC, 45 Manetto Hill Rd., for a basketball clinic run by a sports specialist at 10 a.m. Learn and improve basketball skills and play games. Open Jump
Pump It Up of Plainview, 135 Dupont St., offers this opportunity for open play time where children let the imagination run wild on massive inflatables. It’s not only fun for the kids, but it also provides a healthy workout that burns off excess energy and helps keep them fit. Parkinson’s Group

Rockin’ For Autism
The Developmental Disabilities Institute will once again be heating things up with Long Island’s best rock-n-roll bands to benefit children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities at Mulcahy’s Pub and Music Hall in Wantagh on Sunday, March 9 at 3 p.m. For a $30 donation guests will enjoy the sounds of legendary local bands, gift baskets auction, raffles, food, cash bar and the company of hundreds of fellow Long Islanders. An all -star lineup of legendary Long Island bands including 1 Step Ahead, The Cold Spring Harbor Band paying tribute to Billy Joel, 3, and Generation will be set to hit the stage.
