Two 19-year-old Mineola men died after one of them crashed the car they were in early Wednesday morning in Roslyn Heights.
Nassau County police said Steven Clancy was driving his 2004 Volkswagen Jetta northbound on Roslyn Road when he lost control of the car and struck a curb near Locust Lane at 1:15 a.m.
The car hit a tree in the rear yard of an Oak Lane residence before coming to a rest, police said.
Both teens were pronounced dead within minutes of the crash.
Homicide Squad detectives are continuing the investigation into the cause of the crash.
