Maryjane Grant Ford Shirreffs passed away on the Feb. 25.
Her mother was Dorothy Grant Ford, owner of the Port Washington Reporter and her father was James P. Ford, owner of the Sands Point Shipyard and a decorated WW1 soldier.
She is survived by her children, relatives and husband John Shirreffs.
Maryjane was a lady and a beautiful person inside and out. She died at home with family, and she will be terribly missed. She will be buried in her family’s plot at Nassau Knolls.
