A man wearing a brown baseball cap with the image of President Barack Obama’s face on it is wanted for robbing a bank in Bethpage this week, Nassau County police said.

The suspect walked into the Chase Bank on Hempstead Turnpike and gave a note demanding cash to the teller before the robber fled  brown, two-tone SUV with an unknown amount of cash at 11:40 a.m.Wednesday, police said.

The suspect was described as a black man in his mid-40s, 5-feet, 9-inches tall with a medium build, black hair and was wearing a blue, button-down dress shirt.

Robbery Squad detectives request anyone with information regarding the above incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
