A 28-year-old Centereach man was fatally struck by a car in Selden over the weekend.
Suffolk County police said the pedestrian was walking when he was hit by a westbound Kia Soul at the corner of College Road shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday.
The victim, Ronaldy Benjamin, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 51-year-old Mary McCabe of Coram, was not injured.
