Three Port Washington residents—Barbara Spivak, Lawrence Chrapwily and Margaret Weissbach—have been selected among 50 Long Islanders to participate in the upcoming art and photography exhibition being hosted by LIU Post. The exhibit is to benefit the Nassau County Firefighter’s Operation Wounded Warrior.
Come view “Summer” through the eyes of these award winning artists and photographers—150 works of art will be for sale, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the charity.
Admission for the exhibit, which runs Aug. 2-27, is free. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, from 1 to 4 p.m. The location is 720 Northern Blvd., Brookville, LIU Post College—Hutchins Gallery in the Schwartz Library, lower level. Email inquiries to womenworldart14@aol.com or call 516-299-2307.
