A 22-year-old Baltimore man has been identified as the victim of fatal shooting that wounded a second man outside of a bar in Baldwin over the weekend, Nassau County police said.
Daquan Gaskin and an unidentified 39-year-old man were shot in front of Love Jones Café on Grand Avenue at 3:41 a.m. Saturday, police said.
Gaskin was shot in the chest and the second victim was shot in the leg. Both victims were taken to local hospitals. Gaskin was pronounced dead a half hour later.
Homicide Squad detectives are continuing the investigation.
