A motorcyclist was killed when he crashed into a tree in Manorville on Saturday evening.

Suffolk County police said Anthony Balbi was riding a Honda westbound on Mill Road, when he drove into the woods and struck a tree near Edwards Avenue shortly after 6 p.m.

The victim was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue, where he died from his wounds.

Seventh Squad detectives impounded the motorcycle, are continuing the investigation and ask anyone who may have witnessed this crash to call them at 631-852-8752.
