Floral Park Woman’s Club will hold its Daytime Welcome New Members Meeting at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at the Floral Park Recreation Center. The Sewanhaka Central High School District Board of Education invites community members to join in the groundbreaking ceremony that celebrates the passage of the district’s bond referendum and represents a new beginning for the district. The groundbreaking will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Alva T. Stanforth Fields (behind the Elmont Memorial Library) from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
