Due to the overwhelming success of the Library’s Drop-In LEGO Club and the large turnout at the first meeting, the Garden City Public Library’s Children’s Department is seeking donations of LEGO bricks, mini figures, and other LEGO parts in order to expand the club and accommodate more children.
If you have old LEGO bricks you would like to donate to the library for the club, please contact the Children’s Department either by email at gardenchild@gardencitypl.org or by phone at 516-742-8405, ext. 216. LEGO donations can also be brought to the Children’s Room at the Garden City Public Library, which is located on 60 Seventh St. The Garden City Public Library’s Children’s Department greatly appreciates any donations received. The next two meetings of the LEGO Club will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 8 and Wednesday, Nov. 12. The club is open to children in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Priority for registration and participation is given to children who are Garden City Public Library cardholders.
