On Friday, Oct. 10, the Carle Place/Wheatley High School Frogs, a team that includes players from Roslyn, gave Roosevelt a run for their money with Friday night football under the lights of the Frogs’ newly turfed field. The game ended with a nail-biting 35-34 win for Roosevelt. At the game was State Senator Jack Martins, East Williston Deputy Mayor Bonnie Parente, Assemblyman Ed Ra and Legislator Nassau Laura Schaefer for the official ribbon cutting grand opening of the field.
