POB John F. Kennedy High School brought in the Homecoming weekend with school spirit and Hawk pride.
Students gathered for a pep rally to meet the members of the team from all fall sports including the Plainview-Old Bethpage Hawks football team who played in game. The next day, each class created their own Homecoming banner according to a game show theme and marched with the band, cheerleaders and other student groups to gear up the crowd for the game.
Hundreds of fans gathered to cheer on the Hawks who were ultimately victorious, defeating Hicksville High School 26-14.
