I am not celebrating this mid-term election. What it means to me is set backs! “The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.”
Inequity and inequality will expand. There will be more unfair voting restrictions, more low wages for women and men, lack of affordable birth control and child care, and no concern for our planet. Fossil fuels will boom under corporations as they continue to pollute and destroy air, water and our food system. Renewable energy will be on the back burners along with good education and immigration reform for those who need and deserve it. The global corporations and their investors will rule. I believe the American dream is vanishing and an America run by the elite is rising.
