SCA Theater Begins December 6

The Manhasset SCA Family Theatre will once again present two professional productions during the 2014-2015 season. Frosty the Snowman, will be performed by Plaza Theatrical Productions on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Munsey Park Elementary School Auditorium at 2 p.m. Frosty, the beloved snowman, known to melt everyone’s hearts, comes to life in a holiday show for the whole family. Based on the classic tale enjoyed by millions around the globe, this show is sure to put a smile on your face.
Miss Nelson is Missing! will be performed by Theatreworks USA on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 at the Munsey Park Elementary School Auditorium at 2 p.m. The students in Room 207 were the worst behaved class in the whole school – even though they had the sweetest teacher of all, Miss Nelson. But when Miss Nelson unexpectedly does not come to school one day, the class gets the strictest substitute they have ever met: Miss Viola Swamp! The search is on for Miss Nelson, who seems to have vanished. Hopefully the students of Room 207 will find her before it’s too late – for them! This lighthearted musical reminds us all to show appreciation to those that we value.
Advance ticket sales are available by U.S. Mail.  Advance tickets for both shows are $20 or $12 per show.  All tickets at the door on the day of the show are $14 each.  Children under the age of 3 are free.  To obtain an order form to purchase tickets by U.S. Mail, visit the SCA website at manhassetsca.org.
Scout groups and birthday parties are welcome and special arrangements for a “meet and greet” with the cast members can be arranged.  Everyone is encouraged to attend and enjoy an afternoon of fun and entertainment.
