New Hyde Park-Mineola Runner’s Club members contributed donations of fiction and nonfiction books to incarcerated youths at the Sing Sing Correctional Facility, in Ossining, NY, during its recent meeting at Tully Park in New Hyde Park. To date, the runner’s club has collected and delivered more than 1,000 books to the facility. The New Hyde Park Memorial High School Library and Hillside Public Library have participated in the program started by the runners, as well.
