On Monday, Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m., Temple Judea of Manhasset will host a pre-Hanukkah evening with Temple Judea singles, one featuring delish latkes, wine, crudités, dessert, coffee and sodas.
The evening will also feature a talk and short film by Rabbi Todd Chizner on “The Festival of Lights – The Lighter Side of Hanukkah.”
Participants will receive a free Dreidel as a gift. They will also get one spin. Everyone will win Hanukkah gelt and those that get the correct spin, will win even more.
Temple Judea member, Sharon Daniels and Temple Judea board member, Jerry Perelman, lead the singles group.
“Our philosophy is to attract dynamic and accomplished singles from Long Island and the five boroughs and from all backgrounds and lifestyles so we can all make new friends while doing interesting and creative activities together,” said Perelman. “Our goal is to have a place where you will feel welcome and safe with a dignified atmosphere. We invite you to feel part of our family here, even if you are not a temple member. We are quite diverse here at Temple Judea and have had participants from all backgrounds, faiths and religions.”
Temple Judea is at 333 Searingtown Rd., Manhasset.
