Mineola Junior Fire Department firefighters trained with Company 3 members under the direction of ex-captain George Rowe recently. As the junior firefighters went through a course, they were stopped and asked questions on what to do in certain situations, and if they knew the proper names of the tools. Members of the best team were honored with certificates for their outstanding performance.
