Nassau County Police are investigating a car crash that occurred on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 2:05 a.m. in Mineola.
According to detectives, the owner of a business located at 160 Herricks Rd. in Mineola noticed damage to the building along with skid marks on the side walk. The owner was able to later view a premise security video and observed a silver colored vehicle strike his building and leave without reporting the incident to police, authorities said. The vehicle caused extensive damage to the building.
