On Thursday, Feb. 19, from 1 to 3 p.m., Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) will hold a tax grievance workshop at the Willets Road School, 455 I.U. Willets Rd.
The workshop, Jacobs said, will explain the process of applying for a correction of one’s property tax assessment has been added due to popular demand.
A representative from the Nassau County Assessment Review Commission will be available to explain how the commission values a home based on its current fair market value, and will provide further information in a question-and-answer period. Applications will be provided at this workshop.
