Assemblyman Tom McKevitt (R,C,I – East Meadow) recently celebrated the grand opening of an expanded small business in Massapequa; Saverio’s Wood Fired Pizza Room is now open at 929 North Broadway.

“It is wonderful to see our local small businesses being able to expand and grow,” said McKevitt. “Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and the largest employer in the state. We must do everything we can to support the local businesses on our communities’ ‘Main Streets.’”

Saverio’s Wood Fired Pizza Room is an expansion of the A&S Pork Store in Massapequa, a long standing family-run fine and imported foods store. Bringing a pizza oven from Naples, Italy, the business is now able to add pizza to their wide-range of Italian-American prepared foods and catering options.
