Middle School Recreation Nights
The Garden City Recreation Department is sponsoring several recreation nights for middle schoolers in St. Paul’s Field House on the following dates:
Friday, March 6 – Sixth grade
Friday, March 13 – Sixth and seventh grades
Recreation nights will be chaperoned by the recreation staff and will run from 7 to 9 p.m.
Admission is $5. A DJ will provide music and refreshments will be available for a nominal charge. The gym will be open for basketball, volleyball, dancing and other games.
Note: Once the children are in the facility for either of these programs, they will not be allowed to leave unless accompanied by an adult. Please come into the building to pick up your child.
Spring Is Coming And So Is US Sports Institute
Spring programs with US Sports Institute will start in early April with the very popular Multisport Camp for 5 to 11 years old during the spring break.
They will also offer weekly classes beginning in April for children ages 3 to 7 years in soccer, T-ball and multisports. For the 2-and 3-year-olds, US Sports Institute will hold Parent and Me classes on Sunday, Tuesday or Thursday mornings.
