A Syosset man is under arrest after he rammed a woman’s car with his own following an argument, police say.
According to detectives, the 22-year-old female victim was involved in a verbal altercation with Ari S. Drucker, 27, of Syosset, while at a local Mobil gas station on Sunday, March 8. The woman left the scene and called 911 while parked on Birchwood Park Drive, that’s when police say Drucker pulled alongside her and pulled a knife while yelling at her. Drucker then drove away, made a U-turn and collided with the rear of the victim’s car, cops say. Police arrived and placed Drucker under arrest.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with a broken rib and lacerations to the face.
Drucker is charged with second-degree assault, third-degree menacing and third-degree criminal mischief.
