The NYS Department of Transportation project to repave the Northern State Parkway (NSP) between the LIE/I495 (Exit 37A) and Wantagh State Parkway/WSP (Exit 33) will resume in the westbound direction on Monday, April 6, 2015, weather permitting, in the Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County.
All NSP travel lanes and access ramps will be closed each night between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday and between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Fridays. Traffic will be detoured around the construction operations via the LIE, NY 25/Jericho Turnpike, and Post Road back to the NSP.
These nightly westbound closures are expected to be in effect until the end of May. The eastbound section of NSP between Wantagh State Parkway and the LIE/I495 was repaved last fall.
