Meet The Psychics
Get up close and personal with some of the Eyes of Learning’s readers, mediums and psychics. The audience will be seated in semi-circles and psychics will spend 20 to 25 minutes in each circle before rotating to the next one. Children ages 5 to 12 are invited to this free arts and crafts program held by the Town of Oyster Bay. The program runs Saturdays until May 30 and there will be a new craft featured each week. There will be raffles, vendors, free lectures, food, camaraderie and the option to purchase your own psychic reading. American Girl Casting
Our Lady of Mercy School is looking for models for their annual American Girl Fashion Show in October. Clothing will be provided in sizes 6 to 10. Celebrate the experience of being a girl, whether yesterday or today, through a colorful presentation of historical and contemporary fashions. Dinner and Sinatra Fundraiser
Sons of Italy Galileo Galilei Lodge #2253 in Hicksville will be hosting a scholarship fundraising event featuring Jerry Cardone at the William P. Bennett Hicksville Community Center, 28 W. Storytelling Event
St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Hicksville is having a story telling event in which people from the Hicksville community will tell recount something that happened to them or someone close to them that had a major impact on their life or faith. The story should be about 5-10 minutes in length and be appropriate for all ages.
