Cops say a man is under arrest in connection with a Woodbury Road burglary that occurred in 2013.
According to authorities, Anthony Cole, 27, was arrested by the New York State Division of Parole April 16 for an unrelated charge when detectives determined he had an open warrant for a burglary in Hicksville two years ago.
In that incident, cops say an employee of USA Variety Discount Store on Woodbury Road arrived at work and discovered a broken front plate glass window. Upon further inspection, the employee discovered the cash register was missing, along with several packs of cigarettes.
Cole is charged with third-degree burglary.
