The Town of North Hempstead and Friends of Port Rowing’s 4th Annual Row for Autism Regatta on April 18 at North Hempstead Beach Park. Since 2012, the event has raised funds for Port Rowing’s adaptive rowing program and for Autism Speaks, the autism advocacy organization. The adaptive rowing program partners rowers with special needs, including autism and physical disabilities, with ablebodied peers.
