Port Jefferson Doctor Accused of Forcible Touching

A neurologist has been arrested for allegedly forcibly touching a female patient in his Port Jefferson office two months ago, Suffolk County police said.

Dr. Jacob Mathew was charged Wednesday with forcible touching.

Police said the 58-year-old doctor forcibly touched the victim during a treatment visit at his Oakland Avenue office in February.

He will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
