Please let this letter serve as my endorsement of Mark Swensen for Mineola Board of Education trustee. I have known Mark most of my life. He is a level headed businessman who has shown his concern for community time and again by choosing to get involved.
When others complain and voice displeasure, Mark will usually be the one to dig in and work to resolve an issue. Mark’s business and project management as well as technical background would be a great asset to this school board.
His reputation as a personable, approachable and fair individual would be a fresh change to a board whose current leadership seems happier to keep things adversarial. Mark decided to raise his family in the Mineola school district largely due to the reputation that Mineola has for great schools.
It is important to Choose hardworking dedicated people like Mark to protect our district from losing sight of the true goals of education. In closing I ask that you please support my friend Mark Swensen for Board of education trustee.
