Dr. Matthew DeMarinis has been selected by The Nassau County Mathematics Teachers Association as the 2015 High School Mathematics Teacher of the Year. The NCMTA Teacher of the Year is awarded for achievement in leadership, teaching and service.
This includes a commitment to one’s own professional growth as an educator. A lifelong learner, DeMarinis has embarked on a continuing pursuit of knowledge through a rigorous doctoral program through Columbia University where he earned his Doctorate of Education in Mathematics.
