A 20-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Baldwin over the weekend.
Nassau County police said a motorcyclist was riding his Yamaha westbound on Sunrise Highway when he crashed into the passenger side of an eastbound Dodge Journey that was making a left turn onto Central Avenue at 2:45 p.m. Saturday.
The victim, who was ejected from the motorcycle, was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity was not immediately released.
The 71-year-old woman driving the SUV was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Homicide Squad detectives impounded both vehicles and deemed the crash to be an accident.
