I have two positions regarding another 7-Eleven in our area. One is that there are already numerous outlets of a similar nature crowded in the area in question that don’t need the competition along with no shortage of availability. The second is to say that the residents of a town, village or whatever have no say in their neighborhood and are victims of whatever an outsider wants to shove in their face.
In addition to the area in question, it is only a few blocks to Mineola Boulevard and around the corner south on Glen Cove Road to Westbury Avenue where each already has a 7-Eleven. Enough is enough. Personally, I don’t like the looks of them and never go to one.
