A Night At The Races
St. Ignatius Loyola Parish in Hicksville presents dinner and “A Night at the Races.” At Msgr. Tarrant Hall in the St. Ignatius Loyola School on East Nicholai Street. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., dinner served at 7 p.m., races start at 7:45 p.m. Cost is $15 per person. Dinner will be served buffet style and we ask that you bring your own drinks, glasses, and ice. Kids Club
The Broadway Mall hosts the Long Island Puppet Theater for a fun-filled, interactive event about Little Red Riding Hood. The event is free and open to all ages. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Hicksville Street Fair
The 13th annual Hicksville street fair takes place at Kennedy Memorial Park, at the intersection of Jerusalem Ave., W. John St. and Broadway. There will be music, performances, entertainment, rides, food vendors, face painting and more. Bus Trip to the Sands Casino
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Hicksville chapter, will be hosting a bus trip to the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, Penn. on Tuesday, July 28. The cost is $42 per person, which includes the driver’s tip. Give back is $30 slot pay and $5 food voucher. The bus will leave at 9 a.m., please arrive at Burns Avenue elementary school at 8:30 a.m. For reservations please call Barbara at 516-935-5576. Please make checks payable to the CDA.
