Beginning in late September, the Albertson-based Henry Viscardi Center is offering an American Sign Language (ASL) class. The affordable, ten-class course begins on Monday, Sept. 28 and is being taught at the center from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on all 10 dates.
The following is the class schedule: Monday, Sept. 28, Wednesday, Sept. 30, Monday, Oct. 5, Wednesday, Oct. 7 , Wednesday, Oct. 14 , Monday, Oct. 19, Monday, Oct. 26, Wednesday, Oct. 28, Monday, Nov. 2 and Wednesday, Nov. 4
The cost is $150 and the registration deadline is Monday, Sept. 21 Students must be 18 or older to participate.
