The Mineola Girls’ Varsity Volleyball team took first place after defeating Plainview in the final round of playoffs in the recent Mineola Invitational Tournament. In the final round of the tournament, Mineola and Plainview were tied at 1-1. The Mustangs took control in the third game to take the game and the match.
Senior Tara Maloney, was unanimously voted MVP by the panel of coaches.
