A 27-year-old Greenvale man was killed when his motorcycle was involved in a crash with an SUV in Old Brookville on Wednesday afternoon.

Nassau County police said Joseph Pandolfi was riding a Suzuki motorcycle southbound on Glen Cove Road when he was involved in a collision with a GMC Yukon that was making a left turn at the corner of Jaeger Drrive shortly before 4 p.m.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries. The woman driving the SUV was also hospitalized for observation but was not injured.

Homicide Squad detectives impounded the vehicles but found no apparent criminality.
