Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in New Cassel on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 1 a.m.
According to detectives, a 22-year-old male victim was getting into his 2011 Chevrolet Camaro parked on 4th Avenue when he was approached by three unknown Hispanic men that demanded he hand over personal belongings out of his pockets. After the victim refused he drove away at which time he noticed stab wounds from an unknown sharp object to his lower right abdomen, right shoulder, and upper right buttocks. The victim then later called 911. The victim was transported in a Nassau County Police Ambulance to a local area hospital and was treated for non- life threatening injuries.
