A 57-year-old Floral Park woman was killed when an SUV hit the motorcycle on which she was a passenger in Northport on Sunday evening.
Suffolk County police said Martha Garcia was riding on the back of a Harley Davidson that her boyfriend was driving westbound on Fort Salonga Road when the motorcycle collided with an eastbound Toyota RAV4 that was making a left turn into her driveway near the corner of Sandy Hollow Road at 5:35 p.m.
Garcia, who was ejected from the motorcycle, was taken to Huntington Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Her boyfriend and the other driver were treated for non-life threatening injuries at the same hospital.
Second Squad detectives impounded the vehicles, are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information about this crash to call them at 631-854-8252.
