A 36-year-old Sound Beach man was killed when he crashed his motorcycle in Port Jefferson Station late Sunday night.

Suffolk County police said Christopher Danielsen was riding his Kawasaki southwest on Jefferson Avenue when he failed to negotiate a left turn at Route 112 and crashed into parked vehicles at Diamond Auto Body and Glass at 11:34 p.m.

The victim was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Sixth Squad detectives impounded the motorcycle, are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information about this crash to call them at 631-854-8652.
