A 31-year-old Saint Albans man was killed when he crashed his motorcycle while trying to pop a wheelie in a parking garage at Roosevelt Field Mall in East Garden City on Halloween.

Nassau County police said the motorcyclist was riding a Suzuki when he lost control and struck the retaining wall on the second level of the northeast parking garage at 8:50 p.m. Saturday.

The victim, whose name wasn’t immediately released, was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Homicide Squad detectives impounded the motorcycle and are continuing the investigation.
