A 22-year-old Port Washington man was killed when he crashed his motorcycle head-on with an SUV in Atlantic Beach on Monday.
Nassau County police said Thomas Kraft was riding a Kawasaki eastbound on Park Street when he crossed into the westbound lanes and crashed head-on into a Mercedes-Benz SUV at 5:37 p.m.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 55-year-old man driving the SUV and his female passenger were taken to a local hospital.
Homicide Squad detectives impounded the vehicles but found no apparent criminality.
