An 11-year-old girl who was struck by a van in her hometown of Kings Park last week has died, Suffolk County police said.
Holly Gallo was walking across Main Street when she was struck by an eastbound van at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, police said.
Gallo was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, where she died Thursday, police said.
The driver, a 52-year-old Freeport man, was not injured.
Fourth Squad detectives impounded the van, are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information on this case to call them at 631-854-8452.
