The Great Neck Park District’s commuter parking fields are one of the many advantages offered to park residents. As a courtesy to residents, one parking window decal is offered to each resident household at no cost. If needed, a second permit may be purchased for $12.
To obtain a parking window decal, a Park District resident must have a valid park card and present the vehicle’s DMV registration, showing the owner’s name and Park District address.
Nonresidents or those without a window decal on their car, are in violation of parking rules and risk receiving a costly parking ticket. The Park District has increased their code enforcement staff to ensure that only park district residents have complete access to parking in their commuter lots.
