Members of the Carle Place High School SPARC/Interact Club recently assembled entertainment gift packages, or Valentines for Veterans. 
The club took on this endeavor after meeting with U.S. Marine Corporal John Fretz, currently a social studies teacher in Mineola High School, who recounted his experiences of service. The packages were created to help ease the discomfort and distress of our veterans, who are currently receiving care through the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Northport.
