Register To Vote For Library Trustees And Budget

The League of Women Voters of Port Washington-Manhasset (LWV) and the Port Washington Public Library invite residents to register to vote on Tuesday, April 5, for the trustee and budget vote, which will be held on Tuesday, April 12. In order to vote, one must be a resident of the Port Washington School District and registered to vote beforehand. The in-person registration on April 5 will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Those who cannot vote in person on April 12 can obtain an absentee ballot at the library or download a ballot from the library website, www.pwpl.org.

There are five people who want to serve on the Port Washington Library Board for the next five years. Only two of the coveted, non-paying seats are open. The following five people are vying for the seats: Nancy Comer (incumbent), William Keller, Jeff Siegel, Ronit Daniel and Eric Kruger.

The Port Washington Library Board and Budget Election on Tuesday, April 12, will be held at the library from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
