Robert Englander, a former student at Division Avenue High School, decided in 11th grade that he wanted to transfer out to attend Hargrave Military Academy. He knew already what he wanted to do in his future and that was to serve his country by joining the military.
Englander was a straight-A student in Hargrave and excelled at sports and any military training they threw at him. He received a four-year ARMY ROTC scholarship, which he will be using to continue his military education and training at Virginia Military Institute. Englander was accepted to Virginia Tech, The Citadel, The Maritime College and The University of Maryland. Yet, he feels his best career move will be to attend V.M.I.
