Oyster Bay Town Councilman Anthony D. Macagnone reminds residents that Town sanitation and S.O.R.T. recycling collection schedules will be modified for the Monday, May 30, Memorial Day holiday.
“On Memorial Day, there will be no sanitation or recycling collection,” said Macagn
one. “Residents who normally receive sanitation or S.O.R.T. collection on Monday will have pickup on Tuesday, May 31, while Tuesday customers will receive collection on Wednesday, June 1.”
Macagnone added that all Town offices, including the Town of Oyster Bay Ice Skating Center at Bethpage Community Park, will be closed on May 30 in observance of Memorial Day, but all other park facilities will be open.
