South Middle School will present its annual Theatre Workshop featuring short sketch shows on Friday, June 3, at 7 p.m. The student-directed 5-to-10-minute comedies and dramas cover various aspects of life and growing up, with works including “Roadside Clean Up” and “There’s Always Next Year.” Eighth-grade writers/directors are Sidra Hussain and Talia Katz. Gabriel Carras, English department chair/drama teacher, is the faculty advisor. Theatre Workshop is suitable for all ages and all are welcome.
