Richard Diaz was sworn in as the Hicksville Fire Department’s 69th chief when the department recently held its annual installation dinner. Joining the department on its night to honor members and companies and swear in officers were New York State Senator Jack Martins, Nassau County Legislators Laura Schaefer and Rose Marie Walker, and Town of Oyster Bay Councilman Anthony Macagnone.
